iPhone X OLED Display change
Is the display cracked? Is the touchscreen no longer responding? Fix your iPhone X with a new display and touchscreen. A new display can also help if your iPhone X doesn't seem to turn on.
The earpiece speaker and sensor assembly, which is located on the back of the display, is paired with your individual iPhone from the factory. You therefore have to transfer it from the old display to the new one every time you change the display, as described below. The unit also contains the "flood iluminator" - an infrared flash light - which is part of the Face ID biometric security system. If the unit is damaged or replaced, FaceID will no longer work. Therefore, be extra careful and do not damage any of these components when repairing them. In case of damage, only Apple itself can restore the FaceID.
Note: If the automatic brightness setting of the iPhone does not work properly after the display repair, then you have to update to iOS 12. True Tone no longer works after a display replacement, even if an original display from Apple is used.
1
Turn off your iPhone before working on it.
Unscrew the two 6.9mm pentalobe screws on the bottom edge.
If the screws are damaged, you'll need to replace them.
Opening an iPhone will damage its waterproof seals. Have replacement seals ready before proceeding after this step, or avoid exposing your iPhone to moisture if you reassemble it without new seals.

If your iPhone's screen is cracked, you can tape it off to prevent it from shattering further and hurting you.
Place adhesive strips overlapping the entire surface of the display.
This will keep the glass shards together and make the display more stable, making removal easier.
Wear safety glasses to protect your eyes from glass shards during the repair.
If the suction lifter does not stick well in the next steps due to the shattered glass, it is recommended to fold a piece of strong tape so that it can be used as a handle to lift the display.
